G&S Engineering are seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Coordinator to join our Northern Maintenance & Mining teams.

About you:

The G&S Northern Area are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support our maintenance services at Coppabella Mine.

Reporting to the Northern Area Manager, this role will be the client’s key point for day to day maintenance services on site and responsible for delivering ongoing commercial success. Key duties of the position will include, but not be limited to, scheduling of G&S Labour, building a strong Safety culture; maintaining a high level of Quality, Innovation and Cost Initiatives for Fixed Plant and Field Maintenance works.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience working in a similar capacity.

  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships
  • Exposure to Scheduling labour for both CHPP and Field Maintenance tasks (Short term outages and Down days)
  • Particularly experience with scheduling Electric Rope Shovels and Draglines Maintenance will be highly regarded
  • Proficient with the use of Enterprise Resource Planning software (i.e. SAP / Microsoft Project)
  • Provide effective and efficient leadership and coordination of resources to achieve the maintenance plan
  • Utilize proven commercial and contractual capabilities to drive target project outcomes and mitigate risk
  • Manage project invoicing and cash collection activities
  • Prepare all client and internal reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Set and maintain zero exposure safety expectations and initiatives

Essential

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to build strong team relationships
  • High level of financial and commercial acumen
  • High level of competence with SAP software system and Microsoft Office suite of programs (particularly Project and Excel)

Being part of our Maintenance Team, you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with internal & external clients. You will utilize your excellent communication skills, prioritization and time management abilities on a day to day basis, to meet deadlines, and deliver ongoing commercial success, and a strong safety culture.
