We are currently looking for a permanent part time Dental Assistant who ideally has a minimum of 2 years chairside assisting experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our clinical team and perform all aspects of general dental assisting and patient management.

About the role

  • General chair-side assisting
  • General Hygiene assistance where required
  • Sterilisation of Dental instruments
  • Coordination of laboratory work
  • Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic, including infection control
  • Entering & maintaining a client database; liaising with front office reception regarding clients
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical team; assist in all aspects of general dentistry
  • Assist with administration tasks as required

About you

  • Minimum 2 years Dental Assisting experience is preferred but not essential
  • A Certificate III in Dental Assistant would be advantageous 
  • Professional, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Switched on positive attitude with an upbeat fun and adaptable personality
  • Systems proficiency in Oasis preferred but not essential
  • Willing and able to commence working 4 days per week with the flexibility to potentially increase to 5 days per week
